White As Snow

THIS IS THE VOICE OF THE MYSTERONS; WE KNOW THAT YOU CAN HEAR US, EARTHMEN. WE ALSO KNOW OF YOUR PATHETIC ATTEMPTS TO DEFEND YOURSELVES. OUR NEXT ACT OF RETALIATION WILL BE TO KILL THE COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF OF SPECTRUM, COLONEL WHITE. DO YOU HEAR US, EARTHMEN? WE WILL KILL COLONEL WHITE.

Colonel White's life has been threatened by the Mysterons and a communications satellite, TVR-17 is on a collision course with Cloudbase. Colonel White orders Symphony Angel to destroy it. Captain Scarlet disagrees with this course of action and goes off in a sulk.

White decides to leave, and he wants to leave Scarlet in charge. Scarlet refuses, still sulking, and White asks Blue instead, who accepts and is left with orders not to contact White. Lieutenant Green knows where White is going, but refuses to tell Scarlet.

White is hiding out on a submarine, posing as deep-sea fisherman Robert Snow. However, before the submarine submerges, one of the crew is drowned and Mysteronised.

Meanwhile, on Cloudbase, Blue has the Angels doing target practice whilst the rest of the crew is attending lectures on monkey physiology. They are hoping for White's swift return.

On the submarine, the Mysteronised crewman goes to attack Colonel White, but, although badly wounded, he shoots back. It's Captain Scarlet, who has locked White in his wardrobe after stowing away on the submarine. There follows a scene where White rants about his imprisonment and insisting that he will have Scarlet's commission for his actions, whilst the submarine captain attempts to explain that Scarlet is, in fact, dead.

Back on Cloudbase, it transpires that Scarlet pulled rank on Green, and made him confess White's location. White sentences him to death for insubordination, but at it is fairly pointless, they don't bother.
